Mushroom Coffee: What Is It and Should You Be Drinking It?

What is mushroom coffee?

Mushroom coffee is the latest trend to hit the health food scene.

It's made with a coffee and mushrooms: chaga, lions mane, reishi and cordyceps are the fan favourites.

Used for centuries in Russia and Eastern Europe as a folk remedy.

You can find the mushrooms to add into your cup at most natural foods stores, but if you want more of an authentic experience, there are also recipes for making your own mushroom coffee at home using ground-up mushrooms.

Why are people drinking it?

So why are people drinking mushroom coffee?

Many have found the flavor of mushroom coffee to be enjoyable, and it has a lower caffeine content than other caffeine-containing alternatives.

It's also a good source of protein and fiber, which can help keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Lions mane is also know for increasing mental performance. Cordyceps for physical performance. If you love the gym - this is the shroom for you. Reishi for recovery and immunity and chaga for overall health and immunity.

Mushroom coffee is an interesting way to make a cup of joe, but it’s not for everyone.

It does have some health benefits, but also can have some side effects if not right of you. Nausea being the mane one.

If you decide to try it out, use caution and start with small doses so that you can see how your body reacts before trying larger amounts.

No Ordinary Moments has many different mushroom coffee's to choose from.

Moksha and Javasu are very popular all around the world and are a wonderful place to start.
